Its all the different skipping, bounding, and other unique and rhythmic movements that develops their nervous systems to function better, as that’s key in athletic performance. If any company plans to bring in new technology, Leyland will be interested and supportive. Nissan, the Japanese auto makers, is looking for investing in the compact car segment in India. With the increasing number of demand and a market of 70 per cent, Nissan is keen on hunting the small segment car market. Nissan’s eagerness to enter the Indian mini car segment is quite visible as the company is earnestly making efforts and is looking for joint ventures but nothing has been confirmed yet. Nissan exports more than 50,000 Maruti A-star as Nissan Pixo in the European market. Volkswagen’s purchase of 20 per cent equity and entering Suzuki has created a ripple in the export alliance of Maruti Suzuki and Nissan. If the deal is withdrawn, it will substantially benefit Volkswagen as it can fill the white space of the compact cars and Nissan will eventually face losses, as Nissan Micra will be the only car left in the European Market. However, Leyland has signed a deal with Nissan as a joint project of making light passenger and cargo commercial vehicles. And by next year, they believe to launch one of the wheelers. Nissan is also venturing with Bajaj Auto, the two-wheeler makers for making a car of Rs. 2 lacs. Nissan will only market the cars in India and abroad while the manufacturing will be done by Bajaj.

Once India signs a trade agreement with Japan, the auto parts imports will become cheaper. This will mean a tough competition for the local industry worth Rs 90,000-crore. During the visit of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to Tokyo, Japan and India made announcements about the result of discussion on the deal. According to this agreement, the 10 per cent duty of India, on the Japanese mufflers and fenders will be dipped within ten years. On the other hand, the five per cent levies on galvanized and hot rolled steel sheets will be dissolved within 5 years. The tariff on the diesel engines will decline to 6. 25 per cent from 12. 5 per cent over 6 years. The elimination of tariff on the auto parts will support the car makers for lessening the price of acquiring the Japanese components. It is also likely that the cheap imports of high-grade steel might also bring down the costs. The auto experts say that this step will definitely support and help many companies like Honda and Toyota which were likely to leverage the cost advantage to extend in India. Toyota intends to import the transmission system and engine for the Toyota Etios model from Japan or Thailand. Vaishali Jajoo, an expert with Angel Broking stated that with the price of acquiring components falling, the auto makers might forward the profit to the customers. Maruti Suzuki imports a major part of its components from the Japanese market. The local auto parts industry commented that the agreement can result in an inverted duty structure in the coming time. The chief of a local component maker said that the government should ensure that the inverted duty structure, wherein, raw material is available at a higher price with a completely finished product, is looked after. Else it would remove their competitiveness in the country. The Auto Component Manufacturers Association (Acma) stated welcoming the agreement that such agreements should be profitable for both countries. Acma executive director Vinnie Mehta said that the trade agreements should be made final with countries where the power of Indian firms can also be implemented. Toshiyuki Shiga, chairman of the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association, stated that he expects the agreement will help maintain the Japanese auto industry’s speedy business in India.

The most important thing is that kids must first feel comfortable in the water. It is a great idea to start them out in a bath tub at home or in very shallow calm waters.

Do not push your kids to learn how to snorkel, on the contrary, it is best if you let your kids to develop their skills at their own pace. If they are pressured, it will likely take out the fun of snorkeling. Do not worry, a child’s skill will improve on their own with practice.

Practice will undoubtedly develop your kids snorkeling skills. Ideally, begin your child’s training in calm, shallow water, where your child is able to reach out with his/her arms. Shallow areas are also great and easy for your child to practice with buoyancy.

Mastering the skill and confidence to float will be a major milestone towards safe and relaxed snorkeling. However this will take time. So be patient and never push your child to exceed their capabilities. This skill will be perfected by time and practice.

The next step is to have your kid practice the skill of treading through water. The most important thing to look out for is that your kid is comfortable and is able to lift their head above the water whenever the need arises.

Familiarize your kids with the snorkeling gear

Teaching your kids snorkeling may take some time. This is more so the case when your kids learn on how to use their snorkeling equipment. Once your kid is prepared to go snorkel, go with your child and keep close. Important to instruct your child to breath from his/her mouth. Ideally a mask stays reasonably dry on the inside, but it can (and does) accidentally fill with water. Show your kid on how to clear the water from a flooded mask by raising the head, pulling the lower edge of the snorkeling mask away from the face.

If by now you think that your child has gained confidence, show him/her how to clear their snorkel should water come in. This is advisable as you wouldn’t want your child swallowing water if he/she submerges their head below the water.
